I am getting the most frustrating connection issues between the VetusGUI and the Vetus Pars.  When I attempt to connect, it has to be done in a specific order or else it fails to connect.

The order is:  Port (select a com port), Add (add a chip file), Highlight the file, Click Load, Select USB Mode from the Vetus Pars.  Any deviation of this and the GUI does not see the Vetus Pars.

Is there a driver that I may need to install.  I have tried this on USB 2, USB 3 ports, and multiple USB cables.  All produce the same result.

Thanks

I assume you are using Windows? It fails even if you set USB mode before doing all of that? That's weird. I'll need to know which OS and to make sure you are using the newest version of Vetus. Just continue with what works for now and we'll try to replicate the issue and fix it.

I'm running Windows 11.  The issue is still present with the latest version of the software (believe it's the version a_),  Also have firmware 1.0.3 installed.

I'm having a similar problem with MacOS when it used to connect when in USB mode no issues - now I can't get the device to connect irrespective of what Mac I'm using. How do we hard reset the device to factory?

@macsonny That's weird. I don't think a hard reset would do anything. There shouldn't be anything a hard reset would do that would cause the USB to not connect. Are you able to connect in DFU mode?

@macsonny Actually, on second thought about your post.. did you mean that you have it in USB mode but when you try to do something the GUI says that you aren't in USB mode? Are you sure the unit is actually connected to the device? If this is the case, for now please make sure the unit is on before loading up the GUI. I've noticed it is kind of fussy like that. I'm working on the new GUIs as we speak. I'm doing the Mac one in Swift so USB comms should be better.
