RetroCPLD is a compact command-line logic compiler and direct programmer for classic GAL and Microchip ATF15xx CPLDs that converts straightforward equation-based .rcpld source files into programmer ready JEDEC (.jed) files.
Supported devices as of 10-1-26:
- ATF1502AS and ATF1502ASV
- ATF1504AS and ATF1504ASV
- GAL16V8B, GAL20V8B, GAL22V10B
RetroCPLD includes combinational and registered logic, internal nodes, output-enable controls, supported clock/reset/preset controls, signatures, device validation, JEDEC generation, and direct ATF15xx programming.

- macOS: ATDH1150USB and USB-Blaster
- Linux: ATDH1150USB and USB-Blaster
- Windows: ATDH1150USB. USB-Blaster is not currently available on Windows because of a Windows USB driver/backend compatibility issue.
