Description
Vetus Pars is a powerful unit for testing the functionality of many different kinds of integrated circuit chips. It comes with hundreds of tests and you have the ability to create your own tests and save them to the tester (up to 3000). Because the display and the testing socket are connected via ribbon cable, they can be easily replaced and upgraded.
Different testing sockets can be added to provide for special chips such as those that require 12 and -5 volts, or for chips that perhaps use open drain i/o. This allows you to test many different types of chips without having to buy a completely new system.
